Second-Hand

There is an old saying,

the left hand doesn’t know

what the right hand is doing,

which holds true for most of us.

In Zen, the left hand is oneself,

the right a family member

a friend a neighbour

even a foe.

Clasp your hands together,

consider the people around you,

think of them

and you will get to know them better.
