Noah’s Curse

~

to turn on a tap

for one drop of water,

so much will be lost

the waste is shameless,

a flagrant inundation

of the original thirst,

and so with words, when

 unfettered feverish

tongues spill forth

across a page, all

meaning is lost,

the vital message

undelivered
